THE BRIEF

Extend the bathroom and create an interesting space that’s suitable for the whole family.

SOLUTION

The bathroom was extended to incorporate an adjoining cupboard. Hardwearing, practical and colourful cement tiles replaced the thin lino, and Moroccan Zellige wall tiles were fitted to introduce a rustic, textured feel.

Un-lacquered brass taps were used to create a worn, interesting patina to complement the vintage basin unit.

Spotlights, recessed shelving lights and wall mounted fittings provide functional and attractive lighting. A motion sensor switch was used on a low lighting setting for night time trips to the bathroom.
