You'll benefit from professional advice tailored to fit your own style and needs plus plenty of recommendations for next-level end results. We’ll explain everything, so you’ll gain in-depth insights and discover invaluable tips to help you pull your scheme together.

Transform your room with the help of;

  • Design intent concept board - to help you visualise the look and feel of your room.

  • To-scale furniture layout - so you know the size and arrangement of your furniture.

  • Key furniture ideas - (1 option for key pieces).

  • Personalised sample box, so you can see, feel and touch the suggested materials, containing;

    • Soft furnishing and window dressing fabrics

    • Flooring selection

    • Decorating scheme (paint colours/wallpaper)

All you’ll need to do is fill in our questionnaire, provide us with the information we need to understand your brief and then action the recommendations. It’s as simple as that!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

STEP ONE

Tell us everything

Once you've made your booking, you'll receive your briefing questionnaire via email. The information you provide will shape the brief, which we will use to inform and create your bespoke room design.

*Please note that we need a minimum of 3 weeks between receiving your completed questionnaire and receiving your sample box and design documents, to give us enough time to create your scheme.

STEP TWO

Your design

Sit back and relax while we design your room.

We'll design your scheme, create your furniture layout and create a design document/concept board detailing the creative solutions and ideas for your room.

We’ll also pull together your sample box which will contain flooring, fabric, paint and other relevant samples for your project.

STEP THREE

See your design come to life

The big reveal. Your design will come alive when your curated sample box arrives through your door. This will include:

  • Soft furnishing and window dressing fabrics

  • Flooring selection

  • Decorating scheme (paint colours/wallpaper)

Review your design documents

Download your design package, which comprises a detailed layout plan, a curated furniture shopping list, and an abundance of tips and design inspiration to elevate your space.

Then sit back, relax and watch your exclusive video, where I guide you through your design ideas, discussing each element in depth.

Frequently Asked Questions - Helping Hands Design Consultation

  • Your box will be despatched by courier a few days before your consultation. You’ll receive a notification once your box has been despatched, so you’ll be kept completely up to date.

  • Please contact us so we can look into this for you.

  • The products in the box are all sourced from UK suppliers, but that’s not to say that you won’t be able to find something similar elsewhere, but we obviously can’t guarantee this. Shipping costs would be in addition to the price of the consultation, so please contact us for prices.

  • This is something that we are looking into, but for the time being, please contact the suppliers directly and buy the products through them.

  • If you need to cancel your consultation, we understand. Life happens, and sometimes things come up that are beyond your control. However, we do ask that you try to give us as much notice as possible so that we can accommodate other clients who may be waiting for an appointment.

  • Your design consultation gives you the chance to sit down with us (virtually!) and chat through the ideas and suggestions for your room. We value your feedback, so this is the perfect time to make any tweaks. We will send out an additional samples after the consultation.

  • We designed the Helping Hands Design Consultation to be a cost effective alternative to our full, bespoke interior design services. To keep it as an affordable option, we looked closely at the elements that would be the most helpful and make the biggest difference. We know that a lot of people are completely overwhelmed when faced with the design of a room, so our focus is on providing you with the inspiration and direction you need to confidently pull the look of the room together and then leave you to enjoy sourcing the specific furniture for your budget and needs, but with ideas and direction from us.

  • We work extremely hard to get the look of your room right. Our questionnaire is designed to get into the nitty gritty of your style and needs so we can suggest a scheme that’s a perfect fit for you. You will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on our ideas during your consultation. Once your sample box arrives, please contact us straight away if there are any samples which don’t match your needs.
